Nederburg in Paarl is home to South Africa's most acclaimed wines and also hosts the internationally renowned Nederburg Auction, which ranks as one of the top five wine auctions in the world and serves as a valuable showcase for South African winemakers and their products.
Situated in the beautiful Paarl Valley, Nederburg was the first farm in South Africa to be proclaimed a conservation area by South Africa's National Monuments Council.
The manor house, completed in 1800, is a one of the most-recognisable Cape Dutch houses in the Western Cape.
How To Get There
Follow the N1 from Cape Town, pass the first Paarl/Main street exit and the Wellington/Jan van Riebeeck Drive exit, and take the Worcester/Sonstraal Road exit (R101), just before the toll gates at the Huguenot Tunnel.
